Food Bank
We provide food hampers for individuals and families in need. A simple registration process is accomplished upon first visit.
The Salvation Army Food Bank Days are:
Tuesday 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
Thursday 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
Call the Family Service office at (902) 724-5089 to make an appointment for the food bank.
Please bring your recyclable bags to pack your groceries.
Soup Kitchen
The Soup Kitchen provides daily meals for those who need it. Meals are prepared on site. Lunch meals (eat in or take out) are available:
Monday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Tuesday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Wednesday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Thursday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Friday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Donations
Donations are an integral part of our ability to do our work. When you donate, you become part of that work as well. All donations are welcomed and appreciated whether the donation is monetary or actual goods because it all goes back into our community.
